MEDFORD — Jackson County authorities say two burglars took silver ingots and collectible coins as well as electronics and jewelry in a break-in last fall. The burglars also took a carton of orange juice from the refrigerator, shared it and left the carton on the garage floor. Uh, oh.
The sheriff's office said Wednesday the State Police crime lab was able to get DNA evidence from the carton and match it to two suspects through an FBI database.
Additional charges were filed against a Central Point man jailed in an unrelated break-in, 33-year-old Ryan Bohnert. The sheriff's office said it's still investigating the other suspect.
The loot from the Eagle Point burglary included $10,000 in silver and coins in a safe. Sheriff's spokeswoman Andrea Carlson says none of it has been recovered.

Similar thing happened to my friend; the burglar ate some of their powdered donuts and left perfect fingerprints on the sink handle when he rinsed his hands off HAHAHA. Criminals are generally not the brightest tools in the shed.
