Or, at least, California discovers Balboa. Monday nite half time, and one of the discoveries was an almost totally blackened (it cleaned up okay with Tarn-X) 1962 Medio Balboa from Panama. 90% silver, same weight as our halves. I'd never seen one before, it's actually pretty cool.

once the largest silver coin was made was a 20 balboa almost 3.87 aprox oz of silver
