It appears to be real. I don't think I've ever seen it drop that fast. No way, actually. That was like 5 minutes. I'm still not sure we'll see 17, though. I've also heard support at 21, and it stopped just above that, so...

Hi all-
meh, let it fall to $1.25 an ounce. Then I'd order $450K in halves a week
And maybe $100K in dimes just to keep it interesting-
I dont really check kitco for silver and gold spot prices...I check ebay!

That's a crazy drop right out of the gate! Provident has updated prices and I wouldn't mind picking up a few oz. Interesting times...

Thanks. I just looked on another site and seems real. Reminds me of the crash in May 2011. It was a Sunday evening as well.

Depends on how many posts you have. Means absolutely nothing. Unless the person is green, a Moderator, or red, an Administrator.

My new neighbor is a career commodities trader, retired. He thinks silver will go to below $10, then TS will HTF.
We will experience hyperinflation and only the holders of physical goods will be able to financially survive.

Some collect silver with those fears. I hope it never happens but our fiat currency leaves a lot to be desired. I remember being in highschool when we were taken completely off the gold standard and wondered then how money could survive. I guess we may end up seeing what happens. The past few years have really put doubt in the system.

So does that mean $500 gold then? If that the case then that's good because I've always wanted to know what it feels like to hold a kilo of gold in my hand.
