Wow, junk silver is in demand

I got a feeling that as long as you find a wholesale supply of junk 90% silver, flipping it will be easy on Ebay:

How long would it take you to double your money on Ebay if you bought a $1000 face value bag of silver from an online supplier and piece-mealed it out in 60 cent auctions?

I'd considered it, but have been worried about fees & fraud. Plus, there's always the risk that silver will decline before you sell it all.

Ebay is strange. I've been watching it for years now, and its suprising how quickly some coins which technically have no real numismatic value, are going up in price substantially.

Design value, sentimental value must also be coming into the picture.

IE: If you try to pickup a 1981 British Crown (28.28 grams of cupronickel) They consistently sell between $8 and $15.

Found a local jeweler yesterday who sells junk silver at spot!! I am not trying to flip, just building my own collection -- though there is definitely flip potential. I definitely made a new friend.

Keep that guy close. If nothing else, you could instantly flip the 90% here or at APMEX for 2.50/oz.
