I have been trying to compile the costs of mining companies full cost of mining silver, gold and platinum.

This is what I have found:
Silver $22-23 Range
Gold $1184
Platinum ????

Does anyone know or know where to find the average cost mining companies must pay to get an ounce of platinum of the ground?
Also any more information regarding the costs to mine an ounce of silver and gold would be helpful.

For example some sources say silver costs are $0 or very low like $7/oz because its a by-product of copper mining, etc. However one source says $22 is an average cost across all mines.

There is some detailed analysis for silver's cost of production on SeekingAlpha.com about cost of production. Some of these may be redundant.

The CEO of SLW has said $20/oz is their cost of production for silver.

I also read an article on Mineweb today that said Platinum at $1500/USD will put 24,000 mining jobs "at risk" (note, they are not saying these jobs will have to go) in 2014 and if projected out to 2015 the number of projected jobs at risk rises to 121,500. This says to me that Platinum at $1500 is below cost of production, or at the very least not profitable enough in the current environment.
