I like the retro designs of silver rounds. Westminster is selling these:

Maybe it will never happen for the budget priced generic rounds, but I'd be thrilled to see higher relief silver rounds minted in the generics. The Walking Liberty design comes to mind right off the bat, reverse side with the eagle.

It passes the time, I guess, to pick up some rounds on occasion if you think in the long run that silver-price growth will exceed inflation and other benchmark metrics. Sale prices on silver are more to my liking for the accumulation phase.

What???? Silver is on SALE NOW! It's below production cost and it ain't going to be much cheaper than this, if ever, for any length of time.

I am saving up for another price drop. It is just playing the law of averages IMHO. Meanwhile, I paper accumulate via SLV via a low-cost brokerage site. Hedging in a way, as the premium slippage is less that way. I still do not know what to do with ZSL.

I like this one also:

Does anybody offer a round based on the newer Jefferson 5 cent design? The above round reminds me of the Jefferson portrait style. Also, the luster finish I like.

+1. I save as much as I can in silver anyway just to dollar cost average.
