If you want the five you can go for the one ounce that listed in the store.

I thought rhodium was available as a sponge, not as some perty bar. I would be a little leery of this, ESPECIALLY looking at the word 'SAMPLE' on the packaging. Who knows, possibly there is some process to press into bars now, but there was not before. Would suck to spend 6500 on some chinese made rhodium plated nickle bar, but I guess you 'would' save with that free shipping!

it's traditionally a sponge because it's a pain in the butt to make into a bar (it is too brittle) baird is one of the few companies that actually produce such bars.
those that sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither

the bee...gathers it's materials from the flowers of the garden and of the field, but transforms and digests it by a power of it's own.

I think I also remember seeing rounds from Monarch Precious Metals and Sunshine Minting but that was years ago.

I purchased one of those 5oz Baird Rhodium bars.. I was able to use a member over at BS to send it to from Prov and have him ship to me with other items I won in the BS KSA..

Worked out well as you cannot get these 5 oz sizes in Canada and RH is taxed up here. I was able to save approx. 750 bucks between shipping and GST (tax)

Its sweet, its rather hefty in size and is a good addition to my RH stack, up to 11 oz of RH now :D

My LCS has two or three of these. I think the price he wanted for one was a few hundred over spot value. It's an interesting bar, nonetheless! If I had the money to throw around, I'd buy it.

Is there a way to prove it's not counterfeit ?

I'm not sure. It's still in its assay container.
