What's the LARGEST single piece of silver you own? How about copper? Other metals?
SILVER: I have a 6-oz Market Harmony pyramid.
COPPER: a 1-pound bar I just got from Provident earlier this month.
GOLD: the 2003 quarter ounce I bought for my eldest daughter.
Can't remember anything else...

What about you?

Silver: 10 ounce bar (JM I think). I'm sure someone has a 100 oz bar, but the question is will they admit it.
Copper: 1 ounce coin copper eagle
Gold: 1/4 ounce AGE. I can't afford anything larger.
Nickel: .8 ounce Canadian dollar
Platinum: n/a
Rhodium: n/a

Silver: 10 ounce bar I bought from Kitco in 2008
(The rest is all 1 ounce or less)

Copper: I'd have to go through the scrap cords to see which wire is the most weight.

Silver-1 10 ounce bar; everything else I have is one ounce or less.
Gold- 1 ounce Maple leaf. This was passed down to me from my grandfather; I can't afford to buy gold.
Copper... I have a couple Eisenhower dollars. If clad coins don't count, I think it would be an Australian 2 pence coin the size of a nickel.

I found a silver dime in circulation, but the rest sank in an unfortunate ice-fishing incident.

I figured this would come up eventually, for obvious reasons. That's kinda why I chose to use "silver" in the thread subject line. Maybe we shouldn't do gold or other stuff on the high end... I just thought it would be fun to brag on this neat slab of nickel or chunk of copper or perhaps show off a silver brick. Maybe even that's too much. But of course, everyone is free to refrain from posting ... Or lie, which is much funnier :)

Silver: 5 oz. sunshine bar
Copper: 1 pound bar from Provident
Gold: 2 lower molar crowns, one on each side of mouth (believe me, its a big mouth)
lead: 3 inch 00 buck shot shells. OK, maybe buck shot ain't lead, but good for discussion anyway.

I am sorry to hear of your unfortunate calamity. I can only hope that no one was injured. Similar occurances seem to have happened to other RC members. Boats, precious metals and RC members just don't seem to mix. Let this be a reminder to all of us to get vessels that are more sea-worthy!

I am going to show this to my wife and use it as rationalization..err...err justification for a bigger boat

So um, which lake was it? Just out of curiousity and to, um, warn other Realcent
members what lakes are too dangerous to go ice fishing on...

..safety first and all that you know.

Not that I own a submarine or have any plans to look around the bottom of that
lake or anything... ^_-

No wonder I'm a fan of subs! :D
