Germany's Gold

Postby silverstacker » Sat Feb 22, 2014 3:24 pm

I have been following the sory regarding Germany and their 45% of Gold that the U.S has stored for them. I recently heard that the U.S only gave back 5 tonnes of gold to Germany when they asked for the entire lot. We are supposed to have 300 tonnes of Gold stored for Germany in Manhatten but the more I read the more there are reports that we dont have the gold and that its been melted, leased or sold.

Reports are also saying that Germany wanted their gold back because we refused them viewing of their bullion.

Any thoughts on this?

hint... there is no gold in the US!

If everything we did was backed by the full faith and credit of the us, we would take our gold out of FT Knox, and give it back to them!

Agreed there is no gold. The gold that the US did return to Germany had been remelted and Germany wanted to know since we were just storing THEIR gold why was the gold that was returned remelted and not their original gold returned. It appears we did not have an answer but I think no answer speaks for itself.

Sounds like propaganda to me. Why the hell wouldn't Germany store Germany's gold. Ohh hey howdy neighbor can you hold my gold for me?? I'm calling BS.

At the time Germany stored their gold in London, Paris, and New York, the Cold War was in full swing and the USSR and their Warsaw Pact allies seemed like a real threat to West Germany. West Germany was the buffer for the rest of Europe and they had the 2nd largest Gold reserves in the free world. Leaving that much Gold within striking distance of Russian tanks may have proved to be to tantalizing...

Apparently the German gold reserves held by France were intact, because I read that the German's received about 30 tons of gold back from the French. No questions were asked about that process, so maybe that gold was the original bars, intact. So maybe it's just the good ole USA's gold that is "infected."

Makes you wonder... if we returned 5 tons of gold... who did that really belong to before we stole it from them to give to the Germans?

Got Gold? (er.... I mean gold colored tungsten core fake coins?)

So... where is the US Mint sourcing their gold from? Who wants to cut open a fresh American gold eagle of any size and see what's inside? :? :shifty:

Really! Can you say re-hypothecating of gold bullion......fractional reserve....

I know this is old news but check out what Kyle Bass says about gold:

Further what other logical reason could there be for it to take SEVEN YEARS to return something you are suppose to have on hand?

Jesh people like her drive me haywire. Is it really above the realm of possibility that a banker may lie about what he says he has in his possession might not actually be in his possession. Ahh the enlightened... And how they scoff at these crazy ideas.

That's just weird. So now the question (which we can't resolve from here) is why? It isn't there, or it has been leased out, or the Germans fear the Russians enough to be concerned about the safety of gold in Europe, or... ?

Wow, very weird. No way to know for sure of course, but the first thought that struck me, was perhaps we admitted we just dont have it. So if they dont push it then atleast... for now... on paper they still have this gold. It really does make you wonder. Its a head scratcher.

My guess? The gold obviously isn't there (witness the re-smelted bars they returned so far). They sat down and explained this to them in terms a dumkauf could understand (the present system is dependent upon the misperception that the dollar is sound... even though it is no longer backed by gold, and if the public learns unequivocally that the gold is non-existent than the pillars of international trade will collapse. A dollar implosion would have a hugely negative global impact, and thus, it's in Germany's best interest to maintain the smoke and mirrors).

I can believe that and it fits.

+1... it fits, and it's absolutely horrifying if it's true.

It's amazing how thin a veil this status quo is... how thin a cover of peace and calm we have, this safety, this security, this normalcy... how thin it is, covering over the abhorrent reality... and yet everyone is content to live blindly... as if that onion-skin-thin layer is all we need to continue on indefinitely, living our oh-so-wonderful lives, making our ridiculous choices, building futures... based on... lies.
