My buddy hit the jackpot............

A good friend of mine had a good find. We are always talking about investments and especially silver. We pooled our money recently and bought some ASE's from APMEX. I told him how I found 11 40% halves in three boxes of halves from the bank.
His son recently got a job at a local small bank. I told him he should see about getting some halves. His son checked into it and they had two boxes ($1,000 worth). He bought the first box and sorted through those coins. He called me and asked 'I know 1964 and prior are 90% but are 1965-1967 the only ones that are 40%'? I told him 'no - 1965 to 1970 are all 40%'ers'. He said 'good because we found a lot of 1968 and 1969's.' He then asked 'how many silver coins do you expect in a box'? I told him my average was about three but others are between one and two.
He said 'we did great then, we found 119 40%'ers and 2 90%'ers in that one box. I will have to go up and get that other box'. I congratulated him and suggested if taking those others back he replace missing coins with clad counterparts. It might stir up suspicions if he took $500 and only brought back $439.
Makes me want to buy some more halves..................
