What say you, amateur oracles?

IMHO, SILVER is moving up faster than GOLD. If you can perceive $1400 GOLD by the end of 2010, and say the GOLD/SILVER ratio finishes the year at 58 (slightly better than 61 where it is now), the price of SILVER should be $24.14. I think that's doable. If SILVER gets stronger faster, the SILVER/GOLD ratio could be 50-55. At a GOLD/SILVER ratio of 55, SILVER should be $25.45. At a GOLD/SILVER ratio of 50, SILVER should be $28.00. If economic troubles come back in the news with conviction leading to a big QE2, PMs will go even higher.

Bill, I like your math! I'm casting the sole vote for the lunar landing since I think closer to $30 than to $20 is a good possibility But if I'm wrong, I'll just buy more and wait patiently. Nah.... make that impatiently

I see a big correction soon. Looking at the charts, it never goes up as much as it has recently without coming down a low soon after.

I said it will be a little over $20, but who knows. I remember riding it down to $9 or so, after buying a lot at $12 and watching it go up to $20. Anything can happen. If it crashes to below $15, I'll go as long as possible - Buy a 1000oz bar if that's all that's available without a huge premium.

CFTC Commissioner Bart Chilton and his statement on anti-manipulation received some media time today. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Ag hit and maybe go over $25 Wednesday or Thursday, inspite of any of the usual suppression. The demand for physical, plus a weakening dollar, will keep this current silver bull going with minimal pause.

Barring any major manipulations, I see $20+ silver well into the new year.

I voted for somewhat under as I feel the influence of the manipulators will still be strong as we near year's end.

However, I would love to see it go to the moon. Then it could bring back some of the silver that has been discovered on the moon.

I get a feeling it will settle in around $22-23, but I think might go crazy in the next two weeks as investors try to interpret election results.
