Buy It Now?

I've only been a memeber for under a year but when did the "buy it now" section turn into a garage sale of other items? Just asking.

I think the monthly kitchen sink auction has affected that. Doesn't bother me in the end but it might be nicer if non-metal offers were in a different thread (like BS).

In some ways, I like to see nonmetal items in the BIN, because I'd never check a general thread...but there does need to be a balance. As long as people don't clutter it up TOO much, having the variety can be a good thing.

I've offered and sold a variety of good stuff to good people here over the years.
Maybe a different Kitchen sink BIN section?
Or maybe just ask that folks put a brief description in the title, which they almost always do.

I don't see the problem. There has been some good nonmetal items here.
I think TPTB has done a PERFECT job of screening any spam solicitations, better than old RC

Under "Market Place" maybe there could be a sub section titled "Garage Sale" They have such a section over at BS and one can pick up quite a few good bargains from fellow BS members. I like to save a penny when ever possible.
