50th Anniversary Kennedy Half-Dollar Set, Worth Getting?

Any chance the silver and gold ones will go up in value like the 25th Eagle set or the Baseball coins?

Yes, a few sets if you can afford it. You may have to put them away for 20 years to realize some decent appreciation though.
Time is precious, stop wasting it.
