It ain't much, but a war nickel is still a war nickel!

This forum is for discussing hunting and collecting US and Canadian circulation Silver Bullion Coins, other types of minted bullion, and other types of precious and base metal investments other than Bullion Pennies and Nickels.

I haven't actively searched for wild silver in a few years, but the moment I saw the patina on this nickel in my change in the Wendy's drive-thru a few minutes ago, I knew immediately that it was a war nickel. Now if I could just get some gold fractionals in my change next time...

that silver quarter my friend threw into the wild is probably still there. I'm amazed at how many people don't know or don't care about silver coins.
I like collecting Gold and Silver. I prefer the Silver stuff. God Bless You.
