1803 Silver Dollar +AU55

The sidewalk vendors of sunglasses, pearls, trinkets, Viagra, Cialis, etc. now carry silver dollars!
On guy showed me a handful, one was an 1804 dollar in better thanMS55 AU55 condition. The rest of them were a selection of various types, up to a 1921 Peace Dollar, all in great condition. All of them looked like silver & rang like silver when dropped.
I told all the vendors who tried to sell them to me that China is now making very good counterfeits, and I knew that was what they were trying to sell. All of them quickly went away, which is unusual, they will always try to keep selling you their wares until you say No, 3-5 times.
