will it be a low mintage for the ASE`s in 2011?

APMEX has a date for Feb. 18, and can`t garantee that date for their second

shipment from the mint of ASE`s.

I have mine for 2011 but there must be a lot sold to be out already.

does the mint have problems with enough blanks, like it did last year?

Mint had a record month in January, so don't think is a lack of blanks.

Maybe Apmex is just flooded with orders for them now that the sell to foreign countries.

The Mint put out 6,422,000 SAE's in January. More than 2 million more than the previous monthly record from November 2010.

That is more eagles in one month than they minted in several of the years in the 90's.

 JEEZ! Seriously?... I'd like to hear some theories on this.... Anyone think this will be a problem with devaluing silver in the not so far future or distant future? I mean... that does kinda indicate the market is being flooded. I dunno... Let's just say the gloom and doom economy woes turn around soon (not that I think they will)... but if they did... could that kind of production come back to haunt the price of silver? Just for a reference... look at the value of baseball cards from the '80's (I know... were talking PM's... and not a flemzy piece o' card board)... and silver has value to industry and otherwise and not just to collectors... but still... everyone figured out the bubble gum cards of the 40's were worth a ton so everyone started collecting BB cards. Well... that caused a MAJOR upshift in the production levels of BB cards in the late 80's early 90's. Now... just try to sell your collection of late 80's BB cards ANYWHERE! They're nearly worthless! I know I know... PM's are different... but there are some eerie similarities here as well! I dunno... I'm probably WAY OFF HERE... but thoughts anyone?

Nope. The step up in supply is because demand is greater, because more and more people are waking up to teh fact that the dollar is doooooomed. Just keep on buying and you'll be fine.

Depends on what replaces the fiat. If countries go to PM backed currency, then someone has to buy PM's to back up what they print. Of course this will only happen after a collapse of the current fiat. Interesting times indeed.
