Currently in Europe. Would like to know of any gold/silver coin, bullion, etc shops in the following cities:

Germany - Krefeld, Düsseldorf, Koln (Cologne)

France - Paris

Netherlands - Amsterdam, Rotterdam, den Hague

Thank you for your time. Performing local searches and Internet searches is a headache..hopefully some on here have past experiences with some of these cities and their shops.

Are you flying out of schipole airport or Charles de gale?

Two cautionary items-

1) Please be sure that the shops in those countries don't have any sales taxes they charge (or VAT- Value Added Tax, as they call it in England- which, I understand is a whopping 20% sales tax); and

2) Even if there is no sales tax, please be sure you can carry the coins on the plane ride home without a problem.

Other than that, I have no idea which dealers to recommend. I've been to all three countries before, but don't remember seeing any coin dealers there. Admittedly, I was doing other stuff and wasn't exactly looking for coin dealers.

It sounds like your plans are set, but I know a good shop in Bern Switzerland if anyone is going there.

Buying overseas you would likely be charged a VAT tax....

Found a very nice Gold/Silver shop in Koln, Germany called: DEGUSSA

Made a few pick-ups of local commemorative items as well as assay bars. They are quite pricy - however the commemorative stuff is worth it as only 250 are made (annually). Oddly enough their cheapest metals were Maples. Going for just over spot prices...

Will look for more opportunities in France.

You might be able to avoid VAT if they ship your items home.
