Good Memorial Day to you all.
Just sitting here, before I gots to to some laundry in town. (I don't own a washer dryer, coz as a single male, it'd be stupid to spend $1k to $1500 on that item...i'd rather buy.......Ag?)
just curious on what everybody thinks....seems to me, the Ag market locked in this range, is like the calm before the storm. all the alt news I keep reading points to some impending meltdown in equities, derivatives....same story....a TRUE story, but the 64k question is the "when", which is all over the place......heck I thought it was all going down in 2011!!!! (lol)
personal news?...I got slammed on 10 May at 1:30 in the morning....woke up, hacking my lungs out, it was bad, didn't think twice to get in my truck, just crawled down the 10 miles into the county seats fine hospital and ER....diagnosed with a wonderful case of pneumonia, Bless God for the antibiotic Levaquin, stuff saved me again.....they kept me there till the 17 of May....but they did realize me kinda early, coz when I came back home.....I could barely breathe, and just in the last two days...its 25 May now, I feel back to my old self.
I sured (re)learned a lesson though, we can stack and we can prep all we want, but a simple microbe pathogen can sure mess up the best laid plans. (i'm laughing)....and that's the truth.
.9999 Maples mean NOTHING, if you cant breathe.
so in regards to Ag....what do you think? lets say we have the long awaited financial implosion, will it be like 2008-09, with the price of silver cratering....OR will the implosion ...NOW, given the massive frn printing......blow UP the Ag market?
another "trend" I keep noticing is a lot of articles, about how the "powers" want a cashless society, so I've taken to stacking a certain amount of folding money, along with the bricks of nickels and 95% coppers.
tell ya, these are sure strange days, aint they? God bless you all, n.

I am of the belief that we will see AG prices lower than were we are now, maybe $13 to $14 range and with that as my buy number I am stacking cash for a good score. Since i begun stacking four to five years ago I have learned to control my impulses and stick to a game plan I have developed. We'll see how my crystal ball does. Glad to hear that your health is turning around.

Wow - sounds awful Neil! Glad you're ok.
Preps should include a range of reasonable antibiotics and the background on their appropriate use in case you can't get to a ER/doc.
Agree we're in a trading range that we won't break out of much until other major events (whatever they may be - there are so many to choose from!) control the market. We might see a slow climb to a slightly higher number along with the intermediate smackdowns, but I tend to think nothing like late 2010-early 2011 - until we see a broader event in play. But the range makes for great stacking.
Rather than waiting for a lower price that may never come I'm focused on picking the best deals on the best items for new stacking - quality over quantity now. And refining my other preps and broader knowledge. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst...
Again - glad to hear from you - had started to wonder.

Glad you are better my friend. You speak the truth about the right antibiotics. Reminds me of that book "one second after" and how the medicines and insulin etc are all gone.
Anyways, glad your better!

Neil, I know your pain. I came down with pneumonia in 2002. Went to a small clinic with chest pains and was told I had a respiratory infection. Told to take two "horse pill" size antibiotics per day for ten days. By day five my temperature was 105 and couldn't keep food down. Went to the emergency room and was throwing up in the waiting room. Spent nine days there. When released the doctor told me that had I come to the hospital just twelve hours later they couldn't have saved me as I was going into organ failure at that time
Your right, Maple Leafs aren't worth squat if you don't have your health.

68, Rastamon, Stack, Penny,
thanks for all the good wishes on my health...we good now. Been up 0200 reading the dark stuff, its almost 0500, and I've reached my limit...meaning I cant believe how many sons of the darkness wallow in their waste.......these world controllers....its SO dreary....PERSONALLY, though they may "control" markets...or militaries....and they worship that old foul golden calf...I THINK, WE are the stronger, we are the more blessed in life....at least here in the Shire.........
Rasta and 68, I agree......a little lower, especially if the casino comes apart at the seams.....that's why i'm garnering fresh ammo, if pieces of paper....frns, can be called "ammo".
I say this again and again, but I believe that when Ag goes to its TRUE free market level, they are going to try to pry our wealth from us with 50% windfall taxes on white market dealings....i'm sure we'll see bail-in's, i'm sure we'll see ZIRP's....that's there the "bank" charges us to hold digitized frns in an account......but I know there are always workarounds to this wickedness, private dealings, black and grey markets, base metal coinage for trade, etc.......we just GOT to be smarter, ie.....when the bear comes, we don't have to be faster than that bad boy, just faster than the slowest camper.....and they cant tell us, we didn't warn them!!! bless you guys, n

I appreciate that....as far as "wisdom"?....I dunno, I got a blood sugar count at 207, so what do I do?....head to the Wallys and buy two box of banana twinkies.......ahahhahah. member when Hostess went teets up?...and another firm bought it?.....these boys got serious, and tweaked the process....NOW, twinkies are better, I kid you not.
wisdom?........you know weed whackers?...I got a Cub Cadet 509, if you switch out the string head and put in the head with the three stainless steel blades, you can start chewing brush....prickly ash, purple thistle....and I got the steel head on, but there's a gadget, its a like a steel pencil, that slips into a hole, so you can lock the head, to switch it out. I keep all the whacking stuff in a milk bucket.....but...but...wheres that steel rod?....so I gotta go to parts tree dot.....and I order THREE, 8 bucks a piece for a steel rod that probably cost 30 cents to make.
I ordered THREE, coz i'm so "wise"....ahahah.........naw, but thanks for the good wishes.
what about that silver?....Friday morning, the 29th....I don't microwatch the price, but gee whiz. at the start of 2015, I picked up three rolls (75 toz) of Maples...the new kind, with the laser etched surfaces on ob and reverse sides, but now I been adding to something I never did before.....stack folding money....not a ton, I aint got a ton, but more than enough to ride out God knows what they got coming.....and I THINK I might go into town and get another "brick of Nickels".
tell ya what though...if I had 10k free and clear, I'd buy a monster box of Maples, so fast, it would make my head spin, but.....have a great weekend!

Good question, as we're both Americans....the answer is real simple for me...its coz of the Chinese....the Canadians did this new thing in 2014 and 2015.......on the obverse and reverse surfaces, the Canucks have laser etched into the dies, thin lines that go right smack dab into the center of the coin!! its brilliant!....course the Chinese will try to hump 'em, but for now, I love them!
you should check them out....beautiful coin...I mean, i'd rather have Princess Diana (RIP, you dear soul) on the coin instead of the Queen, but ya get what they give you.

When factoring in both beauty AND security I consider the 2014 & 2015 Maple leafs the Cadillac of 1 oz rounds.
Perhaps one day our government will start adding security features to the ASE...maybe.
