Limerick Time

ok, yeah... I'm bored

Rich is the man who decides not to pursue equity yields
And would rather hold metals than bills bearing Great Seals
But concerned a thief could find cash and carry
He decides to dig deep, his growing stash to bury
Is it any surprise then … he’ll be outstanding in his Fields?

A retired soldier who liked to smoke stogies
Used to watch radar for incoming bogeys
From defense of a nation
To fencing generations
It must hurt… becoming an old Thogey

Doc’s a dentist in West Virginia filling coin albums
As well as tooth cavities with modern amalgams
He’d practically give up his first-born’s organs
To obtain some more slabbed Mint State Morgans
As he reclaims gold fillings from mouths that are all gums

Many NW penny searchers have considered an abort plan
Since their copper percentages are down they can't sort man
Then they learned about Adam
All the Lincoln cents? He had 'em
The ore isn’t gone, it’s just hoarded... up in Portland

John thinks that this is funny and easy
Like rhymes and such just flow like an ocean breezy
Sir before you get started just retire
There is only room for one to rule this empire
For we all know that Ray is the king of cheesy
This space for rent. :)

All my gold I keep under key and lock, Man
And for junk silver I go into hock, Man
If they're out at your local coin store
You can probably always find more

There’s a real money man named Chaboo
Who lives upon the island of Oahu
Whenever I get mail
And I see it’s from Dale
As I open it I’m yelling woohoo!

Days beyond these there will be a tale
of copper pennies, below melt, for sale!
Wikipedia shall lament
the government shutdown of Realcent.
But, who cares when you have a Ryedale?

Can you smell what the rock is cooking?
Smelted metals are that for which he is looking
Supply is too tight for spot price to shine
Leveraged ETFs cause investors to pine
Don't be caught empty handed by booking!
Silver: the Rodney Dangerfield of precious metals.

If it's printed on a piece of paper it's worth the paper it's printed on.
If it's a digital asset it's worth the electrons in cyberspace.

There was a gent named Beau
As he got older he started to slow
But his stack of silver continued to grow
Knowledge and wisdom he knows!
I think I need another line.

RE: .999 Canadian Nickels

What an interesting coin that Canadian nickel.
But thinking about it puts me in a pickle.
Do I buy a bunch?
Do I play a hunch?
The supply at good prices is down to a trickle!
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

I would but because I read (a lot of) Penthouse as a young man, the only limericks I can think of all start with "There once was a girl from Nantucket . . . " ;)

There once was a girl from Nantucket
Who bought a chicken and plucked it
Instead of a gold-egg laying goose
She was just unlucky to choose
The wrong fowl so she hasn't had luck yet.

There are those stuck in mire with the ox
Tattered, battered, and stuck on the rocks.
Without hesitation,
This forum became a nation,
And mobilized with thousands of socks.

There once was a President named Obama
Voters are saying" I should have listened to momma
Now the country is in a mess
We have a male Olympian in a dress
Blame it on the media, they started this drama

I'll write you one for a silver dime
If you don't like the rhythm I write
Prepare to defend yourself in a fight
Just join the others and get in line

There was a girl in Nantucket
Who kept copper cents in a bucket
She called Portland Mint
Adam said "Send 'em in!"
Now she's rich, who'd a thunk it!
