Is today's 50 cent jump in silver an anticipatory reaction to tomorrow's possible IR hike? Predictions on how much prices will jump should that happen? Or fall if they don't?

Generally the move prior to the announcement is the head fake that insiders use to generate profits after the news hits.

If they do raise rates, I expect metals to drop somewhat but not as much as equities.

The verdict is..... drum roll.... no rate hike. Another round of brinkmanship.

How many more times can they lie about a rate hike that is impossible? Can kicked down the road one more time.

And yet silver at least has taken a modest upward turn since. What a wacky market.

And kudos IC for not throwing an extra S into "brinkmanship" like so many politicians and TV news talking heads do.

"Brinksmanship" is successfully taking over a Brinks armored car, and getting away with the loot.
