Image as sold on Provident Metals website

as sold on ebay by Bullion Exchange... supposedly minted by Elemetal

are these just a poor knock-off? Or just a bad pic? What do you think? The mule looks like it got sand in it's eye

First, the rotation is slightly off. So it makes it look different. And the lighting is different for sure.

I haven't owned any of these, or held them in my hand, so I couldn't tell you if the detail and sharpness starts to fade after the millionth round is minted.

That would be quite something if the bullion exchange turns out to be selling knock offs.

Same silver, different lighting. Provident's image actually looks like a rendering to me, not a photograph.

No clue if real or fake.

This is why I only buy government coins. Much less likely to be fake.

A totally false narrative.

Thanks for posing them together, Nate. May be the lighting. Sure hope so. Cuz if I order some of their NO RETURN rolls and they look just like the rounds
on the right, and not on the left... I won't be a happy camper. The right-sided image looks totally amateurish to me. No way does it look like the rounds I've
picked up from Provident in the past.

The Chinese are now making very sophisticated ASE's. At least the Maple Leaf has a couple security measures that helps confirm it's authenticity.

I love the design of the Walking Liberty Half but 30 years of the same ASE design is enough. Hopefully 2017 will usher in a new design along with at least one security measure--the Mercury dime or Standing Liberty quarter would be a refreshing new design for the ASE
