Here's a fun article. Check out the last chart that shows the U.S. national debt visualized against all of the world's mined silver. I've seen numbers that are several times higher for total mined silver, but it's still a fraction of the debt.

Big fan of visual capitalist. But too few of the under 40 population care or understand, so the impact of the truths being presented is badly stunted. Sad.

Nice visuals. Let us also factor in our country's massive unfunded pension liabilities so we can get a more accurate view of what lies ahead for America.

Let's also include our Social Security and Medicare obligations and see what that does.

Yep, add it all up and it appears to be a recipe for disaster. But I'm content with the knowledge that one day a person of great intellect, vision and charisma will arrive. A person with the ability to unite the masses along with the politicians from both side of the aisle. A person who will garner the admiration and respect from all politicians and convince them to make decisions that are best for their constituency instead of lining their pockets and caving in to special interest groups and lobbyist. Yes I take comfort knowing this great visionary will one day take us and this once great country to the promise land...perhaps our saviour has already arrived
