Good deal on Silver dollars under spot price on Ebay

I bought 20, but he says he has 50 more. These coins are 90% silver and have the same amount of silver as a Morgan or Peace Dollar. They are also legal tender.

Spot price is $27.58 and he is selling them for $27.50. He will ship up to ten coins for $3.50.

I thought it was good deal all things considered. And these have there full silver content, unlike a worn out Morgan or Peace.

I don`t know why but the liberty dollar does not hold it`s price like other things.

if you bought it for the silver you got what you wanted, but the value is there through melt down only, which you can not do now.

I have some and they do not sell.

I consigned mine to the local coin shop for him to try to sell about 6 months ago.
still no sale as of last Monday.

Huh... Doesn't make a lot of sense that these don't sell, though they might need to be discounted more.

I was just in the antique mall up the road today, and several showcase dealers still have Morgans and Peace dollars for $27-28 in XF-AU conditions. Their common dates but if your stacking it doesn't really matter, does it? I cleaned one guy out last week of his 1922 Peace Dollars when they were $27.50 each and he stocked a few more at the same price.

if you sell it at spot for the silver content only it'll sell no prob. i was going to order 10 of them but the shipping is $3.50 per piece so its $31 shipped, not a steller deal. i just bought 90 of the 1982 washington half dollar commems a little under melt and just view it as another 90% holding, nothing more.

No, buy them then ask for an invoice, he will ship 10 for$3.50. I agree 3.50 each would be a deal killer.
