Today I picked up a 14k gold MOM charm at a yard sale for 50 cents.

It has 14k BZ stamped on it; what does the BZ stand for; is that the maker?

I found an ebay listing that said that is a marking for 14k gold made in a certain region of Italy???? I tried to google but could not find any more specifics.

I paid her in halves btw :-)

Also got a heavy men's sterling silver ring and a pair of heavy sterling silver earrings for 50 cents a piece.

Don't you just love Yard Sales? They may as well have a box of $5.00 bills with a sign saying $0.50 each!!
