Grading coins was never my specialty so I ask you guys for your opinion of grading this $20 Gold Liberty 1907-D

This was in the collection and was never quite sure. Also let me know if this is a better date for condition- guessing no but you never know

I'm interested in the result, but incompetent to provide an opinion with any meaning. It looks good on the surface. Not sure where Doc is - busy? Hey Doc?

I'd call that AU55. Looks better than a 53 but not nice enough to be a 58.
