need help on silver hallmarks

Postby dakota1955 » Mon Oct 30, 2017 2:04 pm

I have some Wm Rogers silverware and it looks like it has 2 hallmarks One looks like a I and the other one is S. Been looking on google but no luck so far. I also saw a set at a second hand store with the same marks but a different pattern. Thanks for whatever you all have for info.

Picture?

'I S' is for trade mark of International Silver Company

Are you sure it's Wm Rogers and not Rogers Bros. ?

International Silver bought a lot of registered names, including even Wm Rogers eventually.
