I have been buying some silver to stack away. I found a local dealer selling some silver and was wondering what was the best "bang for my buck", really wondering about colorized ASE's. He has some that are colored red/blue and some that have gold coloring on them for 31.50, non colored are 34.00 and one ounce bars for 31.79. Colored ASE seem like the best deal but wasn't sure how the color would effect them or if it is better to just buy the bars for 29 cents more

Personally, I will buy colorized, but only at a bullion type price. If the choice is an unnamed silver round or a colorized silver round, both at the same price. Then I chose the colorized.

Not everyone likes colorized eagles so it may limit your market when you go to resell them.

If you can get colorized for bullion price or less, do it. Worst case is you take off the paint with acetone and trade them as slightly impaired ASEs, which should bring more than generic bars.

I can only lead the horse to water - I cannot make it drink. See post prior to this one. Think acetone... (or other solvent)

Definitely easy to clean them.
