It hit $2000 in 2020. I'll "celebrate" - if that's even appropriate, when the price rise sustains and exceeds inflation. :)

The +80% increase in Nickel in one day makes $2000 gold look boring.

A pre-1982 Canadian nickel is now worth 0.20 cents!

Excellent point, I think the 2020 price was something like 2070 at its peak. Currently at $1986 as I type this.

Was up to 2065 earlier today. Currently at 2053, which is great for those that own it. I don't, but I do have other metals as most of us here do.

I think I read where the price of nickel went up like 300% in three days? Nickel was briefly over $45 pound and the LME canceled all trades above $18 (if I read and understood it correctly). I think the LME has canceled all nickel trades until Friday?

Word on the street is gold may get back to this price in the 2nd half of the year, due to inflation. Not loving the reason, but it would be nice to get back to that number!
