Dubai Gold Market

My understanding is that the Dubai souk, physical gold market, is one of the busiest in the world.

Will visit later this month.

Has anyone been there?

Never been anywhere that required a passport (I get anxiety just crossing state lines). If you have a chance and don't mind, please take some photos to share here later.
