Selling your gold?

So what if this is it? Gold is finally going to discover its true market value.

Are you ready to cash in to pay off the mortgage, or to take that Istanbul vacation you've always dreamt of, or to buy a valuable piece of art work?

Would you be surprised if there are still buyers on RealCent? I mean, if you're selling it must be a good idea, right? Good timing, right? Why are others buying when you're selling for some other goal attainment?

I'll sell only if I need cash (I don't now so there is no point in selling into an up market) or in certain other limited conditions that are too complicated to list in full or to fully describe. So maybe that qualifies as never, but there isn't a specific price level regardless.

I voted that I'm holding mine, but [shucks], if it hits 10k, I may have to rethink that...

What's your opinion on paying taxes on your gains? Because that's another reason for me to leave it all to my kids.

There are no price limits. For me it's all about timing. I'll sell a little bit at a time in my senior years to supplement my other sources of income.

Need a place that will pay spot at least. Price going up indicates greater demand and less supply? If that is the case, spot is minimum price to ask for as a seller. The buyer can ride the train to higher prices then :shh:

Great point. I guess we could call a few dealers to see what they're paying right now.
