Almost a Year- WOW!

Funny story from a bank teller today...

I stopped by a small no-name bank which is in a very hidden location in a strip mall- one you could easily drive past and not know it is there.

Inside the bank I got $9 in halves (no silver this time), but I said to the teller "I bet you're glad to get rid of these." He said "I've had them a long time." I asked how long and he said he's had them since the day he started, which was almost a year ago! It just goes to show how there are items out there and that we just have to look carefully for them.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

Kids out there today do not care about real coins... only imaginary ones.

After reading this post, Steve, you need to test this bank in terms of pennies. There could be rolls of copper/wheats etc. I would love to buy from this bank, but I am obviously way too far away.
Buy rolls NOW while you still can!

Interesting thought! I’ll ask next time I go.
