I subcribe to GandA and just saw this one. Tried to call yesterday evening and got an answering machine (even though it was during business hours). Machine asks you to leave name and phone # and they will call back. I think I'll try to call again instead of leaving my info. with them.

I don't remember seeing the limit of one each in the ad. Actually it seems like they mentioned asking about "volume discounts". I will double check that tonight when I get back home.

just placed my order for 1- 2011 silver eagle

so i called thursday and put in an order for 1 eagle and the rep said id get an email that day confirming the order, well nothing had come yet and I had not been charged yet, so I figured id give them a call and make sure no problems. Spoke to a different rep and says no order from me is in the computer and that my rep is out of the office until tomorrow and will give me a call.

kidman232. I actually did see this in a magazine, but regardless, I placed the order for 1 raw ASE. They took my information and didnt ask for an email address. I specifically asked him If I got some kind of confirmation email and he said they didnt take email. I placed the order last wednesday evening (so the business day was over) Got charged the next day and recieved it today. Pretty fast for these kind of things. If I were you id just place an entire new order if you werent already going too. The guy could have been 'pulling your leg' so to speak. Maybe he suspected you didnt actually see it in the magazine. Just a thought. Probably just an error on their part. The good thing is that when your card is charged it'll come like 5 days later. I was pretty impressed, not a bad price at all either.

oh by the way, did they mention an expiration date of any type to you? I believe you can two of each, or maybe just be two total. At any rate I might call back and try to place an order for the second, they said I could get. Good offer. Best of luck kidman.

Oh kidman btw do you know what grading service is used to grade the ms69 eagle? Hopefully something like pcgs and not ANACS. I am debating whether or not to get a graded one. Probably isnt worth it. Considering they'll probably be like 30 million SAE minted this year. Any input for anybody on this would be helpful, only 10 bucks more, but I am wondering if you'd really see that premium come time to sell.... Thoughts?

jerry- i actually called back today and spoke to the rep who took my order and he said everything was good to go and the other guy i spoke too didnt have access to his client list. He apologized for not sending me a confirmation email and said he dropped the ball and would get one out to me today. As of yet, no email confirmation or charge to my cc. Although i did get a tracking email from ups for a new package to me, but that could be a silvertowne order, as the origin information has not loaded yet.

kidman- no it came usps priority mail. No signature. Still suprised they asked for your email and told you you'd get an email confirmation. I specifically asked about email confirmation and they said they didnt do that. Hope it works out for ya.
