Nothing I put forth is ever constructive or beneficial to the topic. I just find it BS mint wont drop the price and keep it in line with spot.

I agree. You know if the price of silver would have been $60.00 when they issued the first one they would not have had any problem raising the price. I had to think twice about first one. It would be nice to have the complete set but I think I'll pass on this one.

Spot, right this second is 33.60. I can buy nearly 10 ounces for what this 5oz one would cost. What was a no-brainer last week, I'm gonna sleep on tonight.

I'd buy the 10oz, so when the prices rise, you sell just enough to purchase the coin.

I'll buy one when silver hits 50$ again. Those things aren't worth that retarded amount.

I am also suprised that they haven't lowered the price to reflect a decreased spot price.

with that being said....would I rather have this 5 ouncer or $11.50 face Silver (8.2 ounces ASW) cash spot equivelent. for me.........the 5 ouncer hands down.

As they say junk will always be junk..... or was it silver is silver

SPot price has nothing to do with it. People are still paying $390 for them on e-bay. I am logged in and ready to buy

It's best if you log in before the item comes available, and enable quick checkout so you can avoid all those pointless pages.

Are they overpriced...Yes... most of the stuff the US Mint puts out is! Regardless, I just ordered one.

Thanks for the reminder! :D

When it arrives I'll take a quick peak and then forget about it. Years from now pull it out again. Hopefully by that time I'll say; Wow, I got that at a deal! ;)

The way I see it, with only 27,000 made and it doubling as a bullion piece I think it is worth the shot. Time will tell! 8-)

I suppose I'm just stuck in the metal mindset and not the collector mindset. I liked the look of the hotspring front, but reverse was crap.
