Being pestered to death by their telemarketers isn't worth it in my opinion. They'll call and call and call and then call again, not taking NO for an answer.

They are supposed to stop calling if you tell them to "take me off your call list", but if they don't, you could setup a silent ringtone and designate their phone number as a contact to use that ringtone (if your phone supports that). Alternatively, you could call from a pay phone or some other public phone, and give them that number.
