That's a crazy story.. Might make a few dealers think about transporting their stock loose in cardboard boxes. I had a mental image of a few $100 face priority boxes in a back seat and a similar incident. Those would hurt bouncing around..!!

$1,000,000 is an unusually round figure for the value of a collection of something... I wonder if there is some rounding going on?

yea it was probably something more realistic like $1,499,939 worth so they rounded down to 1 mil. :D

Nah, it was probably someone who valued his silver at $50 an ounce a few weeks ago, and now is trying to recover his loss via insurance. Heck, they might even have employed a stunt driver to flip the car several times. What a scam! :lol:

Wow - Not sure about the law on this type of thing but they might be able to seize the coins if they can prove the weed was in the car.. :o

They may be able to seize it all anyhow. All they need to show is "reasonable suspicion", then the owner needs to prove innocence.
