I entered a number in the auction to see how much that might be for sale. The seller has 300 of them for sale. That is 300 x 100 peace dollars = 30,000 coins. Tell me this will not end badly.

I checked that auction about 4 or 5 hours ago, he had sold 50 or so, just checked again, up to 92 sold! Ridiculous! What scares me is how many of these are sold to unscrupulous scammers who then re-sell them in smaller lots, say 1 or 10? Or even to honest (extremely naive) people seeing a great opportunity. This is assuming that he is actually selling fakes and not just selling nothing. This crap really irritates the heck out of me. $400 bucks is A LOT of money to me and I'm sure to many people that are getting scammed. And potentially releasing 1000's of fakes into the market. I'm pretty good but smart enough to realize I'm not THAT good. Some of those Chinese fakes are damn well done and I'm sure I could be fooled. I will never buy any silver from China but the stuff that makes it to the States worries me. Sorry about the poorly written rant but I had to keep editing my potty mouth.

He's got 99 sold as of now. Look at all that positive feedback. It must be real.

It's sad cause I've no idea how many of them are other scammers doing like you said, or just really ignorant people who don't even know it's fake when they get it.

I can not be sure, but one of the photos in the auction looks like the coins have a smooth edge -ie- not reeded. Dead giveaway. Actually, looking at the coins again, they look too thick. Look at the photo of the closed in shot and look at the top left corner and tell me if those coins do not look 'hockey-puckish' .

In the last batch there were at least 2 or 3 realcent posters that ordered. I'm curious to know what happened for them.

I reported it to ebay late last night and they yanked it. Kind of surprised actually. I didn't think it would work, ebay being ebay :?

What really surprises me is that the coin community over there seems to have given up.

Yea I reported again yesterday as well. They actually do look into stuff even with the large volume of items being sold all the time.
