Silver just dropped over $1.00 in a matter of minutes.

What gives?

Probably just a big sale releasing a large supply pushes the price down slightly

Gold also followed in tandem with a drop of about $10. Haven't figured out what happened except that the Euro has really lost value today and the US dollar has strengthened more than one cent.

There is more selling than buying.

Overall market dive/jitters combined with the comex shorts taking advantage of the moment to try to create a larger crush on silver. Momentarily successful (I'm sure at a profit to those behind it), but no biggie.
