Rules:

Guess (by posting in this thread) the spot silver closing price at 7/29/2011 NY close per Kitco (if Kitco goes down, source of my selection). Guess closest to closing price wins a nice shiny new 2011 uncirculated ASE!

ADDED 5:15pm ET Tuesday 7/26 as end date for guessing.

In the unlikely (but possible) event of a tie (guesses on either side of the actual) I will ask the first poster to pick a side and winner will be by coin toss, and I may (or may not) at my discretion offer a lesser second place prize.

Judges' (me) decision is final.

Participants must be RC members as of now (no newer members can be a winner).

Guess to nearest cent.

One guess each allowed.

No changes/edits.

No duplicates of earlier posted guesses.

Ray is disqualified from participating (this is all about him, except for the prize!)

When is the last date for submissions?

Been in meeting after meeting all day long; as I was on the way out of the office earlier I realized I hadn't capped the end date, but just couldn't get back on-line to add the note.

I'm going to set the last date as Tuesday the 26th at NY market close (essentially 5:15p ET). That'll give the market 3 more days to go wild in either direction, making waiting until late Tuesday to try to outguess the market pretty much pointless...
