Silver hallmark ?
Posted: Tue Jul 26, 2011 10:13 amI guy brought some stuff in to sell me and one piece that appears to be sterling had a hallmark STG and then under it JMF but no place did it say sterling. Is the STG for sterling?

Posted: Tue Jul 26, 2011 11:36 amYes STG is sterling and the other letters denote a maker, you see STG on Australian silver a lot but not exclusively.
