Nothing goes up in a straight line. This is just weak hands washing out, scared hands taking profits off the table. Has the dollar strengthened? Nothing has changed, in years to come you'll look back at today's action and laugh... " I was worried... about that??" Any temporary weakness will recover rapidly, and each time it does the rebound will be quicker, manifesting the resilience of precious metals moreso than investor psychology. Today will merely provide reassurance to old-school investor types who feel that the market was overbought and needed to pullback and fill before further gains. When you run a marathon, nearly everyone slows at the rest stops for a sip of water.

Let it tug silver back to 13. Only idiots would pass that opportunity up

If it did go back down to $13, it may be a blessing in disguise. You could back up the truck and load up.

A couple of years ago silver shot up to $20 and fell back down to around $9; that was a perfect opportunity to load up.

Let it be known at $13 I will not buy one ounce of silver because I would have already spent my last dollar at $14 per ounce.

The tin man needs heart......the cowardly lion needs courage……and I need a beer…..Thursdays are Fridays in my line of work. ;)

I'm hoping we see a drop to $19-20. I'll buy there. I honestly can't see a drop below $15 happening again, especially with our global economic conditions. Todays dip is likely based on alot of profit taking, rather than hard reasons.

For the record, my calcs show a decent floor for Silver around 17.50 +/- 0.75.
I see a soft bottom at 18.25.
This is a major bull run in metals, and we went too far too fast, we have to correct.
I personally believe about 19 is the lowest we'll see here, but I do believe I just might see $30 before 2011.

Note this: The front page on my latest numismatic news says the public is selling silver.
That would be the public that is almost always dead wrong.
It's the same public who jumped in a couple of years ago in panic and is now thankful to get out at a minor profit or break even.

Oh, well, now they can sleep peacefully.

I'm only going to buy when this bull market is confirmed at $30 silver. Otherwise, it's too risky [/sarcasm]

The way silver is up it wouldn't surprise me too much to see $24 on overnight trading Image

Overnight trading is a lot more interesting to watch these days. It even gives me something to do first thing Monday morning at the office.

I've read several sources that say that an Asian cartel of billionaires is in the process of busting LBMA, so it's interesting to see which side will win Image

ASE, Libertads, Pandas & Lunars easily go for that on the bay. I would assume these are all still highly mint state semi-numi coins.
