Was in Cherokee today and seen two things I was not sure about.
1 was a bracelet made of sterling with 5 mercury Dimes in it. The dimes looked great, cost was 29.00
Next was a belt buckle with a silver dollar in it. Only the back of the dollar showed, cost was 12.95. Nothing said real or not.
Not sure if I should have taken a chance on the belt buckle or not.

Probably should've grabbed the belt. Lots of authentic dollars were used for buckles in years past. If it looked real, it likely was.
From hence ye beauties undeceived, know one false step is ne'er retrieved
and be with caution bold.
Not all that tempts your wandering eyes and heedless hearts is lawful prize,
nor all that glistens gold.
