I did it too... I spent 4500+ talking on my cell phone on the golf course at about 9:30 Thurs morning... by the time I got back to lock in the purchase on my side, the price had taken a dive from $42.04 where I bought, to $38.75 where I nearly puked. The stock portfolio took its hits too, but the covered calls I wrote last week are all going to pay off for me. The actual positions have lost a fair amount, however.

Had I panicked, and sold, then those losses would be locked in. But, what about a week/month/year from now? I suspect that what we are seeing right now is going to be a buying opportunity.

I'm not calling a bottom, I'm not saying we are going to bounce and reverse just as fast as we got here, but I do think that there are current bargains, and developing bargains out there. This opportunity will only last as long as people are scared... once they are back to normal, then it's too late.

Get out there and find some bargains. Buckle down and do some research this weekend. It's your life. TAKE IT BY THE THROAT
