I'm not a big fan of that option. Sounds paranoid, I know. However, the contents of a safty deposit box are not insured, also I believe you have to disclose what you are putting in there. If things get bad and banks start to close for real (why many stack physical in the first place) you may lose access to your valuables.
I would actually prefer a private storage facility.
