Are your 2010 ASE's hazy looking?

Every 2010 ASE I have, or have seen has a strange haziness or smokey look to them. It changes when you look at the coin from different angles. The 2009's are gorgeous compared to the 2010's. The 2011's are better than the 2010's, but many still have a slight smokey look to them. I do not buy/collect bullion coins for their numismatic qualities, but I still like them to have maximum eye appeal.

Anyones else notice this? Does it bother you? Any ideas why they look like this?

I personally do not have any with the hazy or milky film on mine. I have talked to a few dealers about it and they say it is pretty common. It could lower the premium of the rounds. I found a great video on youtube that explains it. Basically the guy says it has something to do with the minting process and he gives 3 ways to get rid of the "film". Here is the link to the vid:

WARNING - I have not tested any of his methods, I am just pointing you in the direction. Please don't hold me responsible for any damage.

They are not milk or water spots. The best way I can describe it is a smokey/hazy coating. People who have them should immediately know what I mean when they compare the 2010's to the 2009 ASE's.

"Frosty" is a more appropriate word. I'm surprised more people have not chimed in on this thread.

Maybe a better question would be: Does anyone have 2010 ASE's that are not "frosty' looking?
