How many 2/5 oz coins does it take to make an oz, 3 or 5? I was never good at fractions....

Well, with three you have an extra 1/5 ounce. 6/5 which is 1 1/5.

2/5 ounce is 0.4Oz

5 of them for two ounces.

Unless you mean "40% silver coins"? Then a trip to Coinflation is in order.
