I found an auction on Ecrater selling two 2009 gold buffs for $1050 each. Both are either PCGS or NGC slabbed. I sent the seller a question asking why they were selling $700 under market value. I'm tempted to jump at it but my gut is raising big red flags. The same seller is also selling a pamp suisse 1toz gold for $1100. The seller has no feedback. The pics look convincing...

I agree no one is going to sell that much under market value and you post pictures from anywhere.

I bought something on ecrater or blujay recently and paid through paypal. The guy gave me excuses over and over about shipping and finally after 4 weeks I filed an inquiry through paypal. Got a refund that same day and the guy's account disappeared the next.

I asked the seller why so cheap and got a quick response of: wife's having medical issues, lost his job and he is selling cheap as the gold was given to him anyway. He did mention that he was going to increase his price. Don't worry, I'm not going to buy. I've learned that things tend to go wrong when I get greedy. This is the first time I've seen something like this on ecrater.

He should have been able to sell quickly, locally, if what he said is truth.
He would not be able to get his money very quickly if dealing through the mail, so that part of the "rush" is suspect as well.
