I'd feel like I am taking advantage of fools, but I might consider it. I could increase my cash flow by another hundred a month. Then again, I could lose out on the occasional valuable piece that shows up a few times a year. What to do?

Yeah, this topic about halves has come up before. Personally, I am not really enthused about J6P thinking that buying rolls on a chance that they have silver is a winning thing. Tonight I was amused that Ebay is as easy as pie to sell your wares if you are willing to put them up for bid. We all know that it is less cost to do the roll hunting if you can bother to hit up a few banks when you are driving around. I guess some people have no access to banks that can order coins or really don't have a clue that you can ask banks for halves. Anyway, you'd think the sellers' feedback about the near nil silver yields would deter buyers. When all else fails, there is copper, lol.

Heck... it's pretty hard for Thogey to look in the mirror too, but that has more to do with genetics than ethical morals Image

WOW!!! I just checked this seller's completed listing and there have been over 100 of these rolls sold. In fact two different rolls sold today (11/19) for over $20 each. And the seller has 50 more rolls up for auction spread out over the next week.

In most of the completed auctions I would guess about $1.50 - $2.00 a roll, after fees, including PayPal, in profit. Some more, some less. As long as you do not lie anywhere in the description, it seems legit, but a bit on the shady side of moral. Would I do it? I have given it some thought but I like searching the bank orders too much to sell the rolls on fleabay. I might be talked into ordering a box of those goshawful dollar coins and sell rolls of those.
