I'm normally not a fan of Wiki, considering the political orientation of so many of those involved with it, but they have some excellent entries on non-political subjects, and you can now download single articles in PDF, and combine several articles in a book format to download as a PDF book. Very neat feature.

Yes this is a good idea! But sometimes getting the real thing, e.g. the whole idea of a single author is a great thing.
