With the RCM canning the penny shortly, they made news again announcing glow-in-the-dark prehistoric series coins. I thought this was a joke but apparently it's the real deal, albeit in a limited-edition release. Why can't the US Mint give us something this funky and interesting?!

another awesome product from the rcm,I collect canadian quarters(mostly colorized) but any commerative will do so why dont i collect state quarters?I really dont know why.is it becouse the canadian coins are something different and the state quarters are so common to me.Or are the canadian coins just superior.

These are pretty cool, not really my thing but very neat. I was browsing the bay today and they are going for around $70 a pop :shock:

Could be a nice flip opportunity if anyone has some extras.
