Gold Price Drop

Perhaps I'll be 100% wrong but it looks like a decent short term price drop is near.
Cheers!

CME is lowering silver margins at close on Monday. To me this seems just a precursor to entice the wary and naive back into the futures market, where activity has shown a marked decline over several months. I would be more inclined to think we'll see an advance in the near-term future, but probably no more than a dollar or dollar fifty, over a two week period, before the rug again is yanked out to settle back into rangebound trading between $30.75 - $31.50. Whatever you think might be likely to happen... probably won't, since management of perceptions is half their game.

Too much / too fast of a push from $1625?

That's what I get for not reading the topic title. This is about gold, not silver. I'll leave the gold forecasts for folks a lot smarter than me. All I've got to say is that no matter who makes a call... it is guess work. In the short term anything can happen, particularly in managed markets.

Yeah no kidding! I'm not too interested in shorting the market but if you ever have one of these "hunches" that things are about to explode to the upside feel free to give us the heads up. ;)

Thanks guys for the positive comments. I only try to call it like I see it but I have been keeping a low profile here. Spotting potential adverse price movements and commenting here tends to draw out strange reactions from some folks. ;)
To those who benefit in whatever way, my best to you!

1638 is a possible near term target.
Or perhaps I'll be 100% wrong. Let's see...

All markets are rigged. Predictions are a moot point really. I hope they push gold down a lot because I need to buy more on sale.

why do you always have to jump in every single one of jonflyfish posts and say something negative about him or his predictions, would you like it if someone did that too you each time you posts?

Price Goes Down = Good news for us. Buy more cheaper.
Price Goes Up = Good news for us. Our holdings are worth more.

I don't see a downside either way here unless you have not taken the plunge yet, are forced into liquidation, or cannot / will not dollar cost average.

Jon's predictions either way is good news for the stackers :D
